Patient and Resident Rights
Upon admission, each patient or resident is given a copy of their Bill of Rights. These rights are explained to the patient, resident, or their chosen representative by the nursing staff member, social worker, or designee assigned to admit the patient or resident.Current facility policies, inspection findings of state and local health authorities, and further information about patient or resident rights is available to patients, residents, their guardians or representatives upon reasonable request to the Administrator.
The rights of patients and residents are recognized by all staff members at all times, and patients assume their responsibilities to enable personal dignity, well being, and proper delivery of care.
The Bill of Rights is updated every 3 months on the Minnesota Department of Health website. Please visit Minnesota Department of Health - Bill of Rights for the most recent Patient/Resident Bill of Rights.
