New Point of Care (POCUS) Ultrasonography

As part of the $207,035 grant that North Shore Health received from the Helmsley Charitable Trust Grant, we purchased a Point Of Care Ultrasound (POCUS). We are grateful to the Helmsley Trust for their generous grant, and are thrilled about providing even more comprehensive care to the members of our community.
Point of care ultrasonography (POCUS) is advanced diagnostic ultrasonography that is performed and interpreted by the attending physician as a bedside test. POCUS has been widely used in many disciplines as a rapid diagnostic tool, especially in emergency medicine.
