North Shore Health knows that parents are attending many appointments during your pregnancy. We are pleased to offer fetal non-stress tests right here in your home community. Avoid the drive and work directly with your primary care provider while you receive the care you and your baby need.
A non-stress test is a common prenatal test that checks on your baby's health. This test is non-invasive and does not pose any physical risks to you or your baby. During a non-stress test, the baby's heart rate is monitored to see how it responds to the baby's movements.
The referral for your non-stress test must come from the Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and be coordinated with your provider’s schedule. Your test will happen in one of our private hospital rooms and you provider will need to come to North Shore Health to view the results while you are here.
