Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and working closely with the Business Office Manager, the Accountant is responsible for the day to day accounting operations, performing daily, weekly, and monthly general accounting functions; assisting with regulatory reporting compliance; and assisting with monthly financial statement preparation and analysis. Together with the Business Office Manager, the Accountant works closely with department supervisors to educate regarding accounting procedures, to support the mission of North Shore Health.
