Congratulations to Trey Hadden on passing his CNA Knowledge and Skills State Tests on September 10th! Trey is now a Certified Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry and will be working as a CNA in the North Shore Living Care Center. Trey moved to Grand Marais this spring from Georgia and began his the North Shore Health CNA Education Program in June. Trey has been busy balancing another job while completing the 75 hour OnTrack Program.

The OnTrack curriculum includes 35 hours of online study, 24+ hours of in-person skills lab instruction and practice, and 16 hours of clinical at North Shore Living. The North Shore Health Education Program pays the cost of the OnTrack Program in exchange for a commitment to work in the North Shore Living Care Center for 1,000 hours over one year; hours worked as a Student Nursing Assistant (NA) count. You can start working and earning as a Student NA once you complete the initial 35 hours on online instruction and tests and after completion of two skills sessions.

Trey put in a lot of hours, effort and dedication. Thank you for all of your hard work! Congratulations on your Certification as a Nursing Assistant and welcome to North Shore Health. We are so lucky to have you working as a CNA.
