(Please note: EMS training only. No real patients involved).
NSH EMS was dispatched to the shore for an unconscious person down on the rocks, called in by a passerby.
Upon arrival, the crew found the patient lying on her side with obvious injuries to the back of her head and wrist.
Patient remained unconscious and barely responsive to painful stimuli.
The patient could not maintain her own airway and pupils were found to be unequal.
