MASKS OPTIONAL!

New Respiratory Illness Safety Policy

MASKS OPTIONAL!

Good news from North Shore Health!
Per the end of the public health emergency (PHE) and changes of CDC/MDH guidelines, as of 6:00 a.m. on May 17, 2023, masks no longer need to be worn in standard healthcare settings. This includes both the Hospital and Care Center. Masks are now optional and are still available at entrances. New Respiratory Illness Safety Policy signs are being posted at all entrances.
North Shore Health will continue to track and monitor COVID-19 trends in the community as well as grouping with other respiratory illnesses such as Flu A, B and RSV.
We have also lifted seating limitations at our café. Visitors, hospital patients, nursing home residents and NSH employees may now sit and eat with one another. At this time, café services are not available to the public.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation throughout the pandemic.
We hope these changes will make your experience here more pleasant.
